When I came out I was as nervous as I never had been in my life before. But when I finally said the three words “I am gay” to my best friend, it was the best overwhelming feeling in the world. Later I came out to some more friends and to my parents. Simply everybody is supportive and tolerant. I’m so fortune that I have so accepting loving people in my life.

When I came out, I was at a concert with my friends. The singer said to shout if you were gay. I completely forgot that I was with my friends, so I shouted. One of my friends hits me in the arm and says, “Why did you shout? You’re not gay.” All I said was, “Excuse you, yes I am.” All of my friends were very accepting.
