When I Came Out

When I came out it was because I had to. My best friend took my phone and went to my Instagram that no one knew I had. He started asking questions about what I posted so I told him and all my friends that we were hanging out with that I am a lesbian. They all reacted really well, even the guy that likes me, and we are all still best friends. I have yet to come out to my family because I’m afraid they will not be as accepting as my friends.

When I came out I was as nervous as I never had been in my life before. But when I finally said the three words “I am gay” to my best friend, it was the best overwhelming feeling in the world. Later I came out to some more friends and to my parents. Simply everybody is supportive and tolerant. I’m so fortune that I have so accepting loving people in my life.

When I came out, it was to my brother. I told him I was bi, and I shared it with this site. Now I realize I’m gay, and I have to tell him again. Wish me luck!

When I came out to my friends, everyone acted like there was nothing. To today they aren’t saying anything bad about it and that makes me so happy ♥

When I came out to my friends I was drunk and started talking about this girl I was in love with without realising what I was saying. They weren’t surprised and it has never been a big deal in our friendship group.

When I came out to my just-met friends on a cruise, there was a lull in the conversation. Then I just said, “I’m bi,” and everyone just looked at me. Then Jacob said, “Huh. Wanna get a cupcake?”

When I came out, I was still living at home and had to move out of my mom’s house because she was so disappointed in me that she couldn’t look at me for more than two seconds at a time, and when she did, she would start crying.

When I came out, I told my parents I had was dating someone. They asked for their name. I said that the name was Lisa. My Dad replied: “His name is Lisa??”

When I came out as gay to my best friend, she hugged me and said she loved me. She said she was glad I decided to come out a such a young age (12) instead of locking it away and never telling anyone. A week later she came out as bisexual, and we’ve been dating for a year and a half now. My parents still don’t know.

When I came out to my best friend I told her that I was in love for the first time, and it was with a girl. She told me that if that girl ever hurt me she would go after her and she completely supports me and who I love.
