When I came out, I was at lunch just talking about how I low-key stalk people on the internet. She asked me if any of these people were girls and I said no. That’s when I told her I was bi. My whole world got brighter (literally the room lit up) and she was so accepting and loving. I still haven’t told my parents though. (M/13/Bi)

When I came out I was 15 and my parents cried and insulted me. Next day was weird, they don’t accept it and they are always trying to make me “normal” because they want grandbabies from me. I am now 17, without any love life and friends. Sometimes you wish you were born straight. (M/17/Gay)

When I came out to my mom, she was in denial at first and we cried. She said it was a shock and she didn’t know how to feel about it yet. She says she still loves me though and that she’d keep it a secret.

When I came out I posted a coming out song in a group chat at 3am. The next morning my friends were just like whatever, we don’t care. (F/15/Bi)

When I came out to my sister, she said she’d known for years and that she loved me and I was beautiful and wonderful, no matter what. 🙂 (17/Lesbian)

When I came out as bisexual 2 weeks ago, I told my “short time best friend” first. What I didn’t tell her is that I found out that I was definitely bi thanks to her. So yup… I’m deeply in love with my best friend and she doesn’t know. (F/20)
Story #1564
When I came out as bisexual to my friends, I had been worried they’d judge me. It was in science class and I had tried to casually bring it into a conversation. In the end I had managed to and I was happy with the results… until I went back the day after and the WHOLE school had found out and was questioning me on it. – RAC, 18, UK

When I came out, I did it sophomore year of high school. I was always the friendly guy reaching out to any and everyone. Once I had made myself known, everyone was totally okay with it. The only person that wasn’t was my best friend at the time. But I’m happy now that I’m surrounded by people that truly care about me. (M/24/Gay)
Story #1562
When I came out… my mom didn’t really believe me but now she says things like “You gotta get your grades straightened out.” And laughs and makes it a joke with me. She also saw me looking at John Cena and Nikki Bella when we were watching wrestling with my little brothers and she said, “Ooooh you want a threesome.” (F/14)

When I came out to my female friend, she asked if I like her or find her hot. Wtf 😂😂
