When I came out, it was only to my closest friends at first. First of all, I came out as lesbian about a year or two ago now, and they all seemed okay with it, then this year I also came out as Gender-Fluid, which went down alright too, I guess. I was at school playing truth or dare; my best friend chose truth and it was a question on MY biggest secret. She accidentally outed my gender-fluidity. Because my pronouns are Xe/Xem, people never know how to use them, and there are always boys/girls lines at school, so when I constantly change between them people get confused, which means I don’t get to be seen as the way I would like.
