When I came out I was 13 and I told my 16-year-old sister that I was a lesbian. She rejected my statement and so I ignored that side of myself. Now I am 27 and I just came out as bisexual to one of my best friends. I can finally be my true self. Now to tell my conservative family when I go home for the summer.
