When I came out as gay I called my emo/alternative girl friend after having a f everything moment. She was like, “No way!” because we used to sort of go out. She told her sister (who is bi) right there and that got me slightly mad because it broke trust, but coming out was such a good decision and after that I told two close friends, my parents, and one of my sisters. Now I just have to tell my other sister, my homophobic best friend, and my totally accepting best friend before I tell everyone.
