Story #1023

When I came out as transgender and gay I was 13 years old. My mom just asked me upfront if I felt like a boy; I said I don’t know. I knew that I was really a boy but wasn’t sure if I should tell her. She asked again; I said yes. She said, “So you’re a lesbian?” And I was like, no, I’m a guy and I like guys, so I’m a gay guy. She got upset and I took it back, saying I was wrong. I’ve never regretted anything more. I plan to come out to her again soon.
