Story #1565

When I came out as bisexual 2 weeks ago, I told my “short time best friend” first. What I didn’t tell her is that I found out that I was definitely bi thanks to her. So yup… I’m deeply in love with my best friend and she doesn’t know. (F/20)

Story #1564

When I came out as bisexual to my friends, I had been worried they’d judge me. It was in science class and I had tried to casually bring it into a conversation. In the end I had managed to and I was happy with the results… until I went back the day after and the WHOLE school had found out and was questioning me on it. – RAC, 18, UK

Story #1557

When I came out I realized that my parents already knew. When I told my sister I finally came out, she said, “They already knew.” I was crying so nervous over my breakfast and they just said, “Okay, so how’s your toast?” Biggest relief ever. (F/16/Bi)

Story #1539

When I came out to my best friend, we were at school and he was asking who I liked. He said, “So your crush, did he move away?” The bell rang and I was late, so I looked at him and said, “Not a he,” then ran to class. This was about four hours ago and he hasn’t said anything. I’ve seen him twice since I told him. 🙁 (F/13/Bi)

Story #1537

When I came out to my friends, we were joking around and taking those “Are you gay?” quizzes online at lunch and when my test results said I was bisexual I sighed and said, “Well, that was a waste of time, I already knew that.” It got quiet, then all my friends congratulated me, saying it was obvious, and we went back to eating lunch.

Story #1534

When I came out to my parents as bisexual, their initial response was “We’re here for you but we want to pray for your healing.” That’s the saddest story ever since we all know we can’t pray the gay away. Dream on, folks. Out and proud, 27. 🙂

Story #1533

When I came out as bisexual, I got so much love and support I didn’t expect! I wrote up a Facebook post, posted it, and watched as friend after friend commented and liked it, telling me they were happy for me. It made my day.

Story #1532

When I came out to my best friend as bisexual, I was freaked out. I couldn’t say it out loud, so I had to write it on a piece of paper and gave it to her. She laughed at first, then told me that she already knew and that it was kinda obvious (at least to her). She has been very supportive since, and doesn’t care at all. (F/18, France)

Story #1525

When I came out to my best friend I was too scared to do it in person so I texted him a picture of the girl I had a crush on and said, “shes hot”. He responded with “d8?” and I proceeded by telling him how she was probably straight and how I always ended up liking straight girls. A couple weeks later he asked me if I was bisexual and I said yes.

Story #1522

When I came out to my brother a few months ago, we were so drunk at a club. I was dancing with a guy. He asked me if I was bisexual, and I told him, “Uh, yeah.” We went home and he cried because I didn’t tell him before. Also he said that he will never accept me as gay. I really don’t care.
