When I came out, my mother told me not to label myself. She said that I wouldn’t be able to escape the label, citing incidents from 6 years ago, when I was half my age. She also says I’ll change my mind. She says 12 is too young to be asexual. I’m 13 now and I want to come out again, but every time I try I get lectures.
