Story #2337

When I came out to my friends, none of them were surprised as I’d always been the token cishet and we all know how that goes. My parents asked me if I was confused as I’d been going through a breakup, and that honestly really hurt (although they did say they still love and accept me). When I told my grandparents, though, the first thing they said was “You’re still our (name)” and then “We just want you to be happy and feel like yourself” and that meant so much to me.
