Story #465

When I came out for the FIRST time, it was at my high school in French class. One day everyone was trying to muffle their giggling — I was used to it because they laughed at everything, so I was ignoring it — when someone finally asked, “Who is that kid waving to?!” I looked up, only to groan. One of the kids next to me asked, “You know him?” and the loudest kid in that class shouted, “Is he your boyfriend?” I suddenly shouted — silent, bookworm me — “NO! I DONT SWING THAT WAY!” When I realized what I had yelled, no one was judging me for it, so I blushed and said in a calmer voice, “That’s my little freshman brother.”
