When I came out to my big brother, we were both fighting about how he wasn’t the only one in the world with personal obstacles he had to overcome. With tears in my eyes and a tremble in my voice I told him: “Like, I’m gay, and I live every day putting up a false front and living in fear of being discovered.” He hugged me and told me that I’d always be his brother no matter what; that gave me strength.
