When I came out, it was to my sister. I knew that she would be accepting because she has quite a few friends in the LGBTQ+ community and is a relatively outspoken ally. And just like I suspected, she was very accepting and loving, and made me feel so much better about myself. I have yet to come out to any other family or friends, but i’m sure she will help me.
