When I came out it was a few days after a friend of mine did. We weren’t close but I was stressing about my sexuality way before she told me and just needed to get it out, so I told her. No one else knows about me, and only one other person knows about her, but it felt so freeing when I told her, like I had this great weight lifted off my chest, and since then I’ve felt more like me, and more accepting of myself than ever.
