When I came out, it was to my mom. She is my best friend and I just bawled before I even said anything to her. She looked at me and said, “Is it what I think it is?” and I just nodded yes. She then started to cry because she was happy I told her and she said she didn’t care as long as I was happy. And eventually I came out to my entire family.
