When I came out I was leaving the house for school. I’m not one for long heartfelt conversations so as I left I called out, “Bye! Oh and by the way… I’M GAY!” and then ran out of the house. Apparently my mum was like, “Are you serious?” and my brother, who already knew, replied, “Yeah”. They accepted me and now I feel so much more free!
