When I came out to my mother last year in December, we were coming from a wedding of one of her friends. Things she said at the wedding like “You will have a beautiful wife like this” just made me really sad and I felt like I had to come out to her, and I did in the car. Her response was really negative and she did not accept it. Even to this day she is still talking about getting girlfriends and she is just making me feel very bad about it.
