When I came out as a lesbian I was 15. My mum’s friend’s daughter got pregnant, so my mum told me I had to be careful. I told her I needn’t because I had a girlfriend. She just asked me for a picture of her and said, “Thank god you are not getting pregnant”. Thanks, mum.
