When I came out I prayed really hard because I thought it was wrong. When God very clearly explained it was how I loved, not who I loved that mattered, I figured I was deluding myself. That seriously pissed off God so I really did get the message! Don’t argue with God! I’m glad too because the next thing I did was to talk to my pastor, who told me I could either be gay or be a member of the church but not both. Well, I don’t think I could have been better prepared for a line like that! Beware of “gate keepers.” God is as much yours and mine as anyone’s!
