When I came out to my best friend (a girl, I’m a guy) it was during school one day. I really wanted to tell her because it was holding me back from growing closer to her as a friend. So one day during last period, I snuck out of class and visited her in P.E. I kind of beat around the bush for a while cause I was so nervous, and she eventually asked me, “Are you gay?” I told her yes and she gave me a big hug. After school we went out to ice cream and she told me how she was so glad I told her. Ever since that day we’ve been super close.
