Story #352

When I came out a month ago, I was too scared to say anything. I made a rainbow cake that said “I’m gay!” in purple frosting. I left a note with it about how I felt, and I listened to my mom read it. She laughed so hard that my sister came out of her room and said “What?” Then she read the note and started laughing, too. They didn’t think I was serious. I’ve only really talked about it with my other sister. The rest of my family thinks I’m in an experimental phase. When I get more serious with my girlfriend, I’ll talk to my parents more.
