When I came out to my best friend, I wasn’t planning to, but we were talking about our future college years, so eventually I told her that I wanted to live with accepting people, since I’m attracted to both women and men. Her reaction was the best, we ended up discussing this topic the whole night. I’ve never felt so genuine in my whole life. (F/18/No idea)

When I came out to three of my best friends, they were at first very surprised. The thought it was a joke. And when they realised it was not, they said, “Well, let’s go to pride then. When I came out I was 12 and it was just to my friends as Ace (no longer identify with this) and then changed it about 6 months later. Now I’m either Bi or Queer. Labels are hard to find. My friends completely accepted me (mostly because the majority of my group of friends are queer one way or another) and I am so grateful for my experience.
