When I came out, a girl kept asking me which boy I liked. She kept asking. I said none. She asked if i was bi and I hesitantly said yes. Then she literally named the whole class to ask. Lol.

When I came out, it was to my best friend after she told me that she had a crush on me. She said that she was happy for me and has been nothing but supportive ever since. A week later, I came out to two other female friends. I live in the Caribbean and our society (as well as my family) is conservative, religious, and highly homophobic so I’m not in a hurry to come out publicly. When I came out to my mom, I secretly recorded her reaction on a voice memo. We got very emotional, and she told me how happy she is that I told her. Later in life, at my wedding, I plan to play her that voice memo. 🙂

When I came out it was about a month ago to my best friends. I’ve known them since 1st grade for one and 3rd grade for the other. One of them, who is pansexual and a demigirl, was super cool about it and told me that she was happy I told her. My other friend didn’t seem to like it that much.
