When I came out my mom yelled, “WHAAAAAT?!” so loud in the car that sometimes I can still hear how my eardrums rang. After I told her I was in love with this amazing girl she removed all of my pictures around the apartment and told me that I’m going to hell, that one of us would get cancer and die. I was in such relief after I came out that it didn’t matter what she did or say because I had just lifted the heaviest weight off my shoulders. A weight that I had been carrying around a loooong time. I’ve never felt so light. Haha sorry mom :p
