When I came out I texted my parents that I am together with a girl, who they knew as my friend. My mom replied something along the lines of “We’ll talk about this,” and my dad, “I just want you to be happy.” I informed them that I am happy. Then they invited her for Christmas dinner. (F/21/Gay)
